How to get there

You can get to the Werkspoormuseum in many ways:

By boat.

The motorway A10 and the Amsterdam Central Station are not far away.

Buslines 22 and 43 have a stop almost in front of our building.

Tramline 10 has a stopping-place at the corner of the Czaar Peterstraat and the Oostenburgergracht.

You can park your car in the surroundings of the museum (please note the parkingmeters).
For larger groups it is possible to make special parking arrangements.

From the direction The Hague / Utrecht / Amersfoort:
- A10 ("ring Amsterdam") in the direction Zaandam ("noordring")
- leave the A10 at S114 Zeeburg / Centrum / Artis, follow this road (2x traffic light)
- drive throught the Piet Hein-tunnel.
- turn left at the end of the tunnel.
- 2e road to the right, pass the viaduct (Cruquiuskade)
- after the traffic lights you are on the Oostenburgergracht; the museum is on your right.

From other directions:
- A10 ("ring Amsterdam")
- leave the A10 at S116 ("Centrum")
- drive through the IJ-tunnel (keep right)
- after leaving the tunnel, keep right
- turn left at the traffic lights,
- turn the right when you are opposite the "Scheepvaartmuseum"
- at the end of this road the Werkspoormuseum is on your left.
