UHT sterilized and aseptic packed products

Sterilization is employed for products requiring a shelf life of 3-6 months. During Ultra High Temperature (UHT) treatment, the product is heated at a high temperature for a few seconds and rapidly cooled. The benefit offered by UHT sterilization is that the flavor and texture of the product are hardly impaired thanks to the rapid heating and cooling.

Typical examples of products suitable for this method of treatment and packaging are milks, desserts and coffee cream.

The product is UHT-sterilized in a Stork Sterideal system. The Stork Sterideal can be coupled  with a variety of aseptic fillers including its own aseptic bottle filler, which can handle both open and closed (internally sterile) plastic bottles.
