Although this month’s performance review demonstrates continual improvement on our 12 month LTIF and TRIF, it also highlights areas that require our urgent attention.

In March alone, we recorded eight incidents – three of which resulted in an LTI.

A clear trend has emerged which attributes most of these to slips, trips and falls. This is a trend that we can quickly reverse. There are three simple things we can all do to mitigate against a slip, trip or fall:
• Keep your work environment hazard free.
• Adhere to all house rules and operating rules.
• Stay focused - complacency is the biggest threat to our safety. Before you commence any task, pause and ask yourself: ‘what is the worst possible outcome of my actions?’.

Let’s continue REACH Beyond Zeroing for HSEQ excellence, together.
