An incident has occurred on one of our client’s North Sea platforms, whereby an Aquadyne Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) received an injury to his right elbow, when he slipped on a wet surface and fell whilst exiting an RBG containerised jetting unit. The team were working on night shift and there was heavy rain at the time of the incident.

The jetting unit was situated on the South West End of the skid deck and had been on location sitting idle for a number of weeks. The RPS was part of a three-man team that had arrived on board two days earlier to carry out platform drain cleaning works.
