Lessons Learned - Habitat Sheeting Dropped Object

Timber strips used to secure habitat sheeting were dislodged as a result of helicopter downdraft caused by the air force of the rotor blade in motion. This resulted i n one of the timber strips, weighing 2.5kilograms, falling 7 metres.

The timber strips were incorrectly fitted meaning the sheeting was not secured adequately for the severity of downdraft encountered.
