Monthly Reviews - October 2011
A note from Mike Mann, SVP for Global HSEQ:
I am disappointed to see that our TRIF has been escalating in the last few months.
This is cause for alarm and a stark warning that we need to reinforce our ongoing commitment to REACH Beyond Zero.
This month’s paper demonstrates a trend of finger and hand incidents. We ran a successful campaign on this in April, but it’s clearly time to revisit this too.
We all agree on the fact that our colleagues must return home safely after each and every shift. We can only ensure that this happens if we maintain a robust and constant focus on safety.
There is no room for complacency - working safely is a mandatory condition of your employment. Let’s use this performance review as an opportunity to re-focus our efforts.
