Safety Alert - T-Bolt Fittings

Common practice when using an impact wrench during a scaffold dismantle would be to hold the back of the fitting to prevent it becoming a dropped object. However, when using an impact wrench to loosen a T-Bolt type fitting, there is potential for the T-Bolt to spin, thus creating a hazard and posing a risk of a finger injury.

To mitigate this risk a small butt can be placed back into the fitting and tightened by hand, this will secure the T-Bolt, preventing it from spinning.
