Stork Safety Summary - November
November was a challenging month in terms of our safety performance. A colleague in Industrial Services Continental Europe sustained a life-changing injury at work which resulted in his hand being amputated following an incident with a roller drum. We should all be able to go to work and return home safely at the end of our day or shift.
Looking at the numbers, our LTIF reduced slightly to 0.84 and a total of 10 recordable incidents (click here for further information) raised our TRIF to 2.70. Our safety stats are in almost exactly the same position as 12 months ago so there is definitely room for improvement. As we move into 2015 we all need to make the safety of ourselves and our colleagues a personal responsibility each and every day.
