Stork’s Azerbaijan operations win British Safety Council ‘International Safety’ Award

Stork’s Azerbaijan team has won an International Safety Award with Merit from the British Safety Council in recognition of its outstanding safety performance and processes.

Stork’s Azerbaijan team has won an International Safety Award with Merit from the British Safety Council in recognition of its outstanding safety performance and processes.

The award recognises commitment to good health and safety management and our Azerbaijan team achieved a total of 56 marks out of 60 after being evaluated on a range of topics including risk, control, compliance, monitoring and people.

Rod Fraser, Azerbaijan Country Manager, and Farid Huzeynov, Azerbaijan HSEQ Manager, collected the prize at an awards dinner, which took place at Grosvenor House, London on 18 May 2012.

Mike Mann, SVP – Global HSSEQ for Stork, said: “This is a great achievement from our Azerbaijan team and is an excellent example of the safety culture and performance that we expect across all our operations. The team has demonstrated a commitment to achieving safety excellence and I congratulate them on behalf of the REACH Beyond Zero Steering Group.”
