Stork invests in new MPI Equipment
Stork has invested in new equipment to automate the Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) process to ensure process stability and increase production output.
IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A HIGH QUALITY STANDARD, STORK INVESTS IN NEW MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION EQUIPMENT TO PARTIALLY AUTOMATE OUR INSPECTION PROCESSES.
Due to our expansion in annual product output, closing in on 90.000 turbine components annually, Stork has invested in a semi-autonomous demagnetization tunnel.
Semi-Autonomous Demagnetization Process
In order to accommodate all our processes for this increased production output, including our inspection and control processes, a Semi-Autonomous demagnetization tunnel has been purchased. This new equipment allows us to speed up our MPI process significantly and ensures that the demagnetization process is well controlled and that the end result is that your products are free of any residual magnetism as they should be.
Automated Production & FMS Cell
Stork Turbo Blading is always looking towards the future when it comes to new technology. The automation of this process is the next logical step within our organization to handle the increased production capacity generated by the implementation of the FASTEMS FMS cell into our manufacturing plant in Sneek, the Netherlands.
