Cooperknit Thermal Insulation Blankets by Cooperheat - cost-effective knitted, silica fibre with many user benefits including reusability, long life and low risk to user health and safety and minimal skin irritation compared with most other high-temperature insulating fibres

DESCRIPTION

Thermal insulation blankets are used to cover the heating elements on a heat treatment set up to help ensure the desired temperature is reached, reduce heat losses away from the edge of the heaters, and provide personnel protection.

Cooperknit insulation is a cost effective knitted, silica fibre with many user benefits including reusability, long life and low risk to user health and safety and minimal skin irritation compared with most other high temperature insulating fibres.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

It is recommend that for most heat treatment applications, two layers of 10mm thick Cooperknit are applied.

Independent tests on Cooperknit have shown that no respirable fibres were found in any samples after exposure to 1000ºC for 24 hours.

Cooperknit can be used repeatedly at continuous operating temperatures up to 950ºC without loss of thermal or mechanical properties.
