Debris in eyes - lessons learned and safety alert

As work was being performed via rope access and scaffolding on an offshore platform, debris was blown into the eyes of two workers.  Wind was blowing at about 20 knots that day, and areas that were being accessed had accumulated dust and debris from prior work activities. One worker was rigging a cable over an I-beam when he felt debris enter his eyes, while the second worker was climbing down off of a scaffold ladder when he felt debris enter his eye.
