Stork extends contract at DuPont Dordrecht

Stork signed a new 3-year maintenance contract with DuPont de Nemours in Dordrecht on Thursday 27 January 2011. With this renewal of the present CCMS (Contracted Construction, Maintenance and Services) contract, DuPont is expressing its confidence in the present and future partnership between the two companies, and has opted to continue following the same proven route as before.

Under the CCMS Contracted Construction, Maintenance and Services contract, Stork West carries out the day-to-day maintenance of the various plants on the DuPont site. At this location in Dordrecht DuPont produces a range of products including Teflon®, Delrin®, Surlyn® en Viton®. As well as the day-to-day maintenance, Stork will also make an important contribution to carrying out the yearly turnarounds (multidisciplinary) projects, and will also provide specialized services such as engineering, inspection and other supporting services.

The permanent on-site presence of Stork personnel at DuPont, close to the customer’s operations, allows a high level of service to be offered. Stork’s continuous improvement processes will contribute to cost reduction, increased plant reliability and uptime, and assurance of process integrity.
