Industry demographics within the offshore oil and gas sector traditionally paint a picture of gender imbalance; particularly within disciplines such as scaffolding. One of Stork’s newest scaffolding recruits, Vicky Welch, is proud to lead the way as the first female scaffolder in the North Sea for Stork and shared her thoughts and experience.

As part of our quality and asset integrity strategy, Stork Colombia has achieved a certification from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to perform construction and repair of boilers and pressure vessels licensed for the use of S,U,R stamps.

Stork, part of Fluor’s Diversified Services segment, was awarded a five-year maintenance contract by Ecopetrol’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Cenit Transportation and Logistics, in Colombia. Stork will provide maintenance services for Ecopetrol’s hydrocarbon transportation network in Colombia.
