Scope of Work

Stork were contacted to provide a HVACR Technical Authority (TA) and hook-up support services to a major oil and gas operator, alongside the addition of Fabric Maintenance (FM) and Quality Services (QS) work. This was the first hook-up contract for this operator.

The workscope involved various handover activities regarding the HVACR systems, all of which ensured our client could commence production on schedule.

Stork's Approach

Stork provided a dedicated team, based at our client’s site to ensure performance standards and maintenance plans were fit for purpose.

Ongoing duties throughout the project included:

  • HVAC TA carrying out full reviews of performance standards, written schemes of examination, HVAC SECE (safety & environmentally critical equipment) failure criteria and the associated SAP maintenance plans. These materials covered all aspects of HVACR equipment and systems
  • Assessing our client’s systems to ensure they were compliant with UKCS requirements, while managing the implementation of recommended upgrades
  • Ongoing HVACR maintenance support
  • Carrying out a concept study for upgrade of a refrigeration system to ensure compliance with FGas regulations

Results & Benefits

  • All works were completed ahead of schedule
  • Workscope carried out with no safety incidents
  • By ensuring a HVACR TA presence onsite, it enabled an efficient review process and the sign off of certification packs to be completed in a timely manner
  • All performance standards were updated, approved and accepted by the 3rd party auditor and the Health and Safety Executive
