AJS joint venture awarded Shell ONEgas contract extension

Stork, the global provider of asset integrity services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Power industries, and its joint venture partners Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs) and AMEC, have secured a five-year plus five-year extension, for the Integrated Services Contract (ISC) for the assets known as Shell ONEgas Southern North Sea.

ONEgas is a combined business unit of Shell UK Exploration & Production (Shell) and the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij B.V. (NAM).

Stork and its joint venture partners Jacobs and AMEC (AJS) have secured the contract extension as a result of excellent performance while working as an integrated team to ensure a sustainable future for ONEgas. AJS has been successfully executing the ONEgas contract for over 10 years since 2003 from offices in Great Yarmouth(UK) and Den Helder, Assen and Leiden in the Netherlands.

This major contract includes all 54 Southern North Sea offshore assets as well as the Shell Bacton plant in the UK and the NAM Den Helder gas plants in the Netherlands. About 1,250 people are employed by the joint venture, active in maintenance modifications and capital projects across United Kingdom Continental Shelf and the Dutch sector of the North Sea.
