Mannheim / Rotterdam – Industrial services provider Bilfinger has further expanded its market position in Europe. The acquisition of parts of Fluor’s European industrial services business Stork has been successfully completed as of April 1, 2024 ("closing"). The signing took place in September 2023.
On September 6, Fluor and Bilfinger reached an agreement for the proposed sale of the Stork businesses in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the US (Ithaca, NY).
Stork, a Fluor company, has been awarded a five-year contract, plus five one-year extension options with London-based Harbour Energy. The contract extends Stork’s asset integrity services in the North Sea on Harbour Energy’s Armada, Everest, Lomond and Erskine (AELE) hub, and also extends services to Solan, the J-Area and the Great Britannia Area.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Richter and Stork have entered into a partnership for Stork's service provision to Richter pumps and valves. With the handing over of the authorization certificate, this collaboration between Richter and Stork has been officially confirmed.
