Challenge

In 2015, Stork Oryx turbo machinery services participated in the first turnaround of Qatar Shell´s pearl gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

Extensive overhauls

The contract included a complex combination of minor and major overhauls of steam turbines, compressors, pumps, blowers, expanders and fans from various manufacturers, which are scheduled during turnaround events. As an independent service provider, Stork Oryx Turbo Machinery Services LLC has experience with servicing almost all brands of steam turbines, compressors and pumps. The organization specializes in effective responses and short lead times enabling Clients to maximise their productivity and keep downtime of their installations to an absolute minimum.

Opportunities
