HP Steam Boiler for Petrochemical company
INTEGRATED PROJECT FOR HIGH-END INDUSTRIAL STEAM PRODUCTION
Recently Stork Thermeq has been awarded the contract for a 100 t/h HP-steam boiler for a major petrochemical company. This project consists of integrated engineering, manufacturing, delivery, technical assistance during erection, commissioning and start-up of the so called ‘EDL-Boiler’.
The key figures of this project are:
- six Stork burners of the Impuls III Generation for the combustion of twelve different refinery fuel gasses
- a 100 t/h steam boiler
- an operating pressure of 75 bar
- a steam-temperature of 485 °C
The boiler and burners are engineered and manufactured in the new facility of Stork Thermeq in Hengelo in The Netherlands. The on-site delivery is scheduled in December 2016. The assembly is planned in the first quarter of 2017 with commissioning in July 2017.
This integrated boiler/burner project is the next step in Stork Thermeq’s strategy to expand in the engineering, manufacturing and delivery of steam boilers and burners. These projects are focusing on fossil fuels for combustion as well as sustainable energy sources, such as different types of bio-mass. The combustion of fossil fuels as well as bio-fuels in the same burner and boiler configuration is a real challenge with which the innovative and well trained engineers of Stork Thermeq feel quite comfortable.
