Challenge

MASA and Stork, through the Pipeline Maintenance Alliance consortium (PMA), is in charge of the "execution of works and maintenance works of hydrocarbon transport systems during the period from 2013 to 2018 of the South, North and East areas of the vice-presidency of transport of Ecopetrol SA ", covering the departments of Putumayo, Nariño, Huila, Tolima, Meta, Norte de Santander, Bolivar, Magdalena, Cesar and Atlántico.

One of the largest pipeline maintenance contracts in Colombia due to the wide coverage and difficult accessibility to the land, which allows the client to have greater control of the operation, with benefits such as the optimization of resources and a better response time to any requirement.

•  Operations under an Integral Management System (SIG) through which they ensure compliance with the objectives, requirements, standards and customer satisfaction, with a high performance index that is reflected in the quarterly evaluations. The last evaluation was 95.33.

•  Flexibility to generate alternatives different from those offered in the market, applying methodologies with competitive rates. Cost savings for the client as a result of the renegotiation.

•  Support, endorsement and accompaniment of the Head Office, to guarantee the transfer of knowledge, technologies and best practices at an international level.
