The fastest turbine inspection for FPSO converter

During conversion of a tanker vessel to an FPSO, our customer asked Stork Gears & Services to perform an inspection on the cargo pump turbines. Inspection resulted in repair of the three turbines under DNV classification in the shortest possible timeframe, followed by on-site commissioning.

• On-site installation and testrun with vibration monitoring and radial shaft displacement

Stork provided the customer with the fastest possible delivery time enabling the client to stay on schedule. The vessel has been operating the three turbines without problems for 2 years now. All repairs were completed under DNV classification within 4 months.
