Fluor announced today that it was awarded a contract by GLOBALFOUNDRIES to provide onsite maintenance and operations support for its microprocessors and water fabrication units at GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ Burlington, Vermont and Fishkill, New York locations. Fluor will book the undisclosed contract value in the second quarter of 2017.

Taco de Haan has been appointed CEO of Stork, a Fluor company. De Haan succeeds Arnold Steenbakker, who has elected to step down effective January 1, 2017. De Haan will report to David Seaton, chairman and CEO of Fluor Corporation

Stork has signed an agreement to acquire Giovenco Industries (Aust) Pty Ltd (Giovenco) in Australia, a leading industrial services group with a track record of over 60 years of service to key clients. Giovenco currently has revenues of around AUS$ 150 million and provides fabric maintenance and mechanical services, predominantly to clients in the oil, gas and natural resources sectors. 

Stork, global provider of knowledge-based asset integrity management services focused on the oil & gas, chemical and power sectors, has been awarded a significant three year contract extension with two one-year extension options, for global oil & gas operator Apache.

Stork, the global provider of asset integrity services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Power industries, and its joint venture partners Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs) and AMEC, have secured a five-year plus five-year extension, for the Integrated Services Contract (ISC) for the assets known as Shell ONEgas Southern North Sea.

The Supervisory Board has the intention to appoint Mr. Arnold Steenbakker as the new CEO effective 1st July 2013, subject to the advice of the Central Works Council. At the same time, Doug Meikle and David Workman will resign as CEO and COO of the Company. As a result the new Board of Management will exist of two people, Mr. Arnold Steenbakker and Mr. Pim Oomens respectively as CEO and CFO.

Stork Holding B.V. has acquired all the shares of Cetus B.V. in Moerdijk, the Netherlands, from Gielissen Holding Veldhoven B.V. as of 1st January 2011. Cetus is a company active in the maintenance, repair and modification of high technology systems specifically including 24/7 service packages for the market in boiler services, primarily in the western part of the Netherlands.
 

Stork has been awarded an order by Nederlandse Gasunie N.V. for the multidisciplinary ‘Capacity increase East-West’ project. This project has recently started and will continue until the end of 2013. It will result in a significant capacity increase in the gas transport system in The Netherlands.

Neptune Energy awarded a four-year framework agreement to its Stork Worley Integrated Solutions joint venture for engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning, and decommissioning services for a brownfield modification for Neptune Energy's Dutch assets in the North Sea.
